This policy explains how dronepoint.help, operated by Dronepoint Events Sdn Bhd, uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences — such as a consent choice or a session identifier — either for the duration of your visit or across repeat visits.
How consent works on this site
On your first visit you are shown a consent banner with the choice to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Nothing non-essential is set until you choose. Your decision is stored so we do not ask on every page, and you can revisit it whenever you like using the cookie settings button that remains available in the lower-left corner of every page.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
- PHP session cookie (PHPSESSID). Supports core site functions including the security token that protects our contact form from abuse. Expires when you close your browser.
- Consent record (cc_cookie). Remembers the cookie choices you made so we can honour them. Stored for six months.
These cannot be switched off through the banner because the site cannot function safely without them.
Analytics (optional)
- Usage analytics. If you consent, we measure anonymised page views, visit duration and approximate city-level location to understand which content is useful. These measurements do not identify you personally and are not used for advertising. Retained for up to fourteen months.
Cookies we do not use
This site sets no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking cookies and no social media pixels. We do not participate in real-time bidding or audience-matching programmes.
Managing cookies yourself
Beyond our consent banner, every modern browser lets you view, block and delete cookies. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies may prevent the contact form from working. Instructions live in your browser's help pages under "cookies" or "site data".
Changes and contact
If we add or change cookies, this page will be updated and, where the change requires it, consent will be requested again. Questions are welcome at [email protected].
